Profile

I'm a Computer Science MSc student at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, and I came to software through hands-on IT work. I spent five years in IT in Nigeria: repairing computers and networks for clients, building dashboards and an automated workflow system as a data science intern, and later running day-to-day IT support for a state Commissioner's office. That work showed me what people actually need from software, which is for it to just work.

Now I build my own products. My web app NimbleFiles is live at nimblefiles.com, written in TypeScript and covered by automated Playwright tests. I'm looking for a software engineering, full stack or cloud/DevOps placement where I can work on production code and learn from an experienced team.

IT Support Officer, Office of the Commissioner

Ministry of Industry, Mines and Solid Minerals, Owerri, Nigeria

First point of contact for IT issues in the Commissioner’s office, covering computers, software and the office network.
Helped plan and roll out new hardware, software and network equipment to replace outdated systems.
Trained office staff on the new systems and on basic computer skills.
Handled installations, upgrades and fault-finding so the office could keep working without long interruptions.

Data Science Intern

Extracted and cleaned company data and turned it into reports for management.
Built dashboards and charts to present findings to senior staff.

A web application for a pressure sensor product, with a Django back end, React front end, role-based access and alerts for high-pressure regions. MSc coursework for Advanced Web Solutions.
IoT Intrusion DetectionResearch
Random Forest and XGBoost classifiers trained on the Edge-IIoTset dataset to detect attacks on IoT networks, plus an analysis of data poisoning and a proposed multi-agent security architecture.
EEG Attention MonitorResearch
Research into real-time student attention detection from EEG signals. The proposal, ethics application and system design are done; the pipeline uses SVM, Random Forest and EEGNet classifiers.
